    * All non-transfer drivers receive 75 points
    * Any disqualified drivers receive 0 points

  • Dropped Races for Series Points

    For 2026, each driver's worst TWO point races will be dropped after the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series season finale. Drivers can drop a 0-point total for a missed event, but can't drop a 0-point total for a disqualification. If we complete 22 races for example, only a driver's best 20 point races will count towards the final point standings.

    * Only a driver's best point night of the three ‘Winter Freeze’ races from February 5-7 will count towards the yearlong SAS points chase.  If a driver can't attend the ‘Winter Freeze’ at Screven and still wants to run for points, it can count as one of your TWO dropped races at the end of the season.
