June 30, 2018 -Tanner English Two For Two In Duck River Southern All Star Action
RACE RECAP: WHEEL, TN--The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by Max Fab made stop #2 of the 2018 season at the Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, TN., and before a packed grandstand Tanner English of Benton, KY., moved to the high side of the track in the final 10 laps and then passed race long leader Brad Skinner on lap 36 to get his second career Southern All Stars win.  “If I was going to get around Brad I know I had to go to the top and with him staying on the bottom he was being held up by lapped cars and I know that would be my only chance to get around him” said English.<<MORE>> (Robert Holman photo)

June 23, 2018 - Michael Page Wins 21st Annual Michael Head Jr Memorial
RACE RECAP:SENOIA, GA--The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by Max Fab made stop #2 of the 2018 season at the3/8ths mile gumbo in Senoia, GA., and Michael Page of Douglasville, GA., became the first repeat winner of the 2018 Southern All Star season and also got the$5,454 payoff in the 21st Annual Michael Head Jr Memorial at the Senoia Raceway Saturday night.  Page started 5thand took the lead from Kyle Hardy and then held off a mid-race challenge by Mason Massey to get his 2nd career series win.<<MORE>>

June 16, 2018 - Tommy Kerr Gets His First Southern All Star Win At Smoky Mt
RACE RECAP: MARYVILLE, TN--The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by Max Fab made its first stop of the 2018 season Saturday night at the Smoky Mt Speedway in Maryville, TN., and Tommy Kerr of Rockford, TN., got his first career series win in a thrilling battle late in the race with his Blount Motorsports teammate Casey Roberts.<<MORE>> (Michael Moats photo)

June 1, 2018 - Southern All Stars Set For A Big Month of Racing In June
Saturday night June 16th the Southern All Stars makes its first stop of the 2018 season at the Smoky Mt Speedway in Maryville, TN., for the Big Daddy 500 that will pay $5,000 to win for the 40 lap feature event, then on Saturday night June 23rd the series will return to the Senoia Raceway in Senoia, GA., for the Michael Head Jr Memorial that will pay $5,454 to win for the 54 lap main event and then the series final stop of the month of June will be on Saturday night June 30th at the Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, TN., as the series will make its second stop of the season at the southern middle Tennessee track.<<MORE>>

May 26, 2018 - John Owenby Makes It Six Out Of Six For Different Winners In Southern All Star Action

May 19, 2018 - Michael Page Another First Time Winner With The Southern All Stars
RACE RECAP: SENOIA, GA--The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by Max Fab made its first stop of the 2018 season at the Senoia Raceway in Senoia, GA., and just like two weeks ago at Talladega Short Track when Austin Horton picked up his first Southern All Star win, Michael Page of Douglasville, GA., added his name to the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series record books as he got his first series win by holding off challenges from Shane Clanton and Aaron Ridley.  Both Clanton and Ridley made charges at Page for the top spot but could do nothing with him as his car was working on the top and bottom of the gumbo and Page used lapped traffic to his advantage and built up the lead over second and third to get his first win.  Behind that trio in fourth was another up and coming driver from Hampton, GA., in his best career Southern All Star finish. and that is Ashton Winger and Ross Bailes from Clover, SC., rounded out the top five.<<MORE>> (Francis Hauke photo)

FAYETTEVILLE, TN—The Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series presented by Max Fab will not be in making their first appearance at Winchester Speedway in Winchester, TN., since 1995 as the speedway management has decided to cancel the Memorial Day Classic 40 that was set to run on May 26th.<<MORE>>

May 3, 2018 - Knowles Race Parts & Bodies Joins Southern All Stars Sponsor List
FAYETTEVILLE, TN—The Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series presented by Max Fab continues to add sponsors to the series to help the drivers out as Jake Knowles of Knowles Race Parts & Bodies will present a $100 product certificate the overall fastest qualifier in SUNOCO Race Fuels qualifying starting at the May 19th event at the Senoia Raceway in Senoia, GA., the Mayhem 40 paying $4,000 to win.<<MORE>>

April 28, 2018 - Austin Horton All Smiles After First Career Southern All Star Win
RACE RECAP: EASTABOGA, AL--The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by Max Fab made its annual spring NASCAR race weekend stop at the Talladega Short Track and the 2017 Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series Champion Austin Horton of Newnan, GA., finally got his first career series win.  In 2017 Austin competed on the series full time and had numerous top five finishes but could never get that top spot, but his finishes got him the series championship last year.  In 2018 he made his first race back with the series count as he held off challenges from three time Southern All Star Champion Ronnie Johnson and Michael Page to get the win. <<MORE>> (Mike Blevins photo)

April 21, 2018 - Tanner English Battles Father Terry And Gets His First Southern All Stars Win At Duck River
RACE RECAP: WHEEL, TN--The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series returned to Duck River Raceway Park Saturday night for the first time since 2001 and the fans that packed the stands got a show from a father & son duo as Tanner and Terry English of Benton, KY., battled side by side for 15 laps till Tanner got the lead for good after a late race restart to get his first Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series win in the Ducktona 40.  They now are the fourth father and son duo to win Southern All Star events.  They join Tony and T J Reaid, Billy and Billy Moyer Jr, and Jack and Travis Pennington.<<MORE>>

December 11th, 2017 - Southern All Stars Schedule To Be Released Soon
FAYETTEVILLE, TN- The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series will kick off its 35th consecutive year of dirt late model racing in the southeast and will release the upcoming 2018 schedule in a few days.

“Drivers, fans and other have been waiting to see the 2018 schedule, but while we were on our way to PRI we had all intentions of releasing it then, but we got phone from tracks wanting dates and tracks moving dates around and some adding races, wo we decided to hold off releasing the dates till we get everybody on their right date.” said General Manager Lynn Acklin.
All the tracks that held Southern All Star events in 2017 are back on board and there will be some new additions to the schedule that is schedule to be released later this week.<<MORE>>
