Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series Makes Stop at I-75 Raceway on Friday, July 3

Round twelve of the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by Showtime Properties season is set to take place on Friday, July 3 at I-75 Raceway!  The lone series visit of the year to the Sweetwater, Tennessee facility will pay $5,000 to the winner of the Super Late Model special.  Garrett Smith, of Madison, Georgia, is the defending race winner, as he secured the $5,000 first place prize money last year over Cory Hedgecock, Clay Harris, Camaron Marlar, and Kaede Loudy.

Joining the SAS Super Late Models on the racing card on Friday will be the Schaeffer’s Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series ($2,000 to win), 604 Late Models ($1,000 to win), Street Stocks ($1,000 to win), Front Wheel Drives ($400 to win), Thunder ($300 to win), and B-Sportsman ($200 to win).  A huge fireworks extravaganza presented by Cougar Fireworks will cap off the evening.

The pit gates and tier parking will open at 3:00pm, while the grandstands will start to allow fans into the venue at 4:00pm.  The drivers meeting is set for 6:30pm and hot laps will take to the racetrack at 7:00pm.  Grandstand admission will be $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for kids ages 6-11.  Admission into tier parking will be $30.00 for adults and $15.00 for kids ages 6-11.  A pit pass will be $45.00 for adults and $20.00 for kids ages 6-11.  Children ages 5 and under will be allowed onto the grounds for FREE.

After eleven Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series events so far in 2026, there have been eight different winners - Brandon Overton (3 victories), Tucker Anderson (2 victories), Chris Madden, Trae Kirk, Bo Slay, Sam Seawright, Shane Clanton, and Michael Page.  Anderson currently sits atop of the latest series point standings by 96 markers over Kendall Franklin.  Dillon Daves, Billy Franklin, and Will Hicks sit third through fifth in the point tally heading into I-75 Raceway.

Super Late Model body rules and the Droop Rule will be the same as those agreed on by both the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series - among others.  Additional rules including engine and weight rules can be found online at www.sasdirt.com.  The Super Late Model entry fee will be $120.00, while transponders will be available to rent.  If you can’t make it to the track, watch every lap of SAS action LIVE on ArrowVision at www.arrowvision.live.
