$12,022 to Win Harold Hardgrove Memorial Set for Lake Cumberland Speedway

Round fourteen of the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by Showtime Properties schedule will take place this Saturday, August 29 at Lake Cumberland Speedway!  The 15th edition of the 'Harold Hardgrove Memorial' will take center stage at the Burnside, Kentucky facility and a hefty $12,022 first place prize will be up for grabs for the Super Late Models.  Jason Jameson overtook racelong leader Jimmy Owens shortly before the halfway mark in last year's 50-lapper to claim the victory over sixteenth-starting Devin Gilpin, Owens, Zack Dohm, and Oakley Johns.

After twelve Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series events so far in 2026, there have been nine different winners - Brandon Overton (3 victories), Tucker Anderson (2 victories), Chris Madden, Trae Kirk, Bo Slay, Sam Seawright, Shane Clanton, Michael Page, and Jadon Frame.  Tucker Anderson currently sits atop of the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series point standings by 118 markers over a top five that includes Kendall Franklin, Dillon Daves, Billy Franklin, and Will Hicks.

On Saturday at Lake Cumberland Speedway, all gates will open at 2:00pm and the track’s Hall of Fame Ceremony will take place at 6:30pm.  Hot laps will then get underway at 7:00pm.  General admission is $30.00 for adults and FREE for kids ages 10 and under.  Pit admission is $45.00 for adults, $20.00 for kids ages 6-10, and FREE for children ages 5 and under.

Along with the ground-pounding Super Late Models on the ‘Harold Hardgrove Memorial’ program will be the Crate Late Model ($2,522 to win), Open Wheel Modified ($1,222 to win), Hobby Stock ($722 to win), Crown Vic ($722 to win), and Mini Stock FWD ($722 to win) classes.  Lake Cumberland Speedway is located at 360 Racetrack Road in Burnside, Kentucky.  The track phone number is 606-341-1228 and the track website can be located online at www.lcspeedway.net.
