Early exit for Mack with SAS at Smoky Mountain

Mack McCarter traveled to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon to enter his West End Package Store No. 51 Late Model into battle for the Southern All Star Series-sanctioned King of the Mountain. With preliminary events pinning McCarter 15th on the starting grid for the $7,500-to-win A-Main, Mack was an early retiree from the 50-lapper on the 15th circuit.
